Dr. Dellacroce (00:00):
You have one good shot at a really great outcome. What you don’t know can hurt you and what you do know can help you. I encourage women to invest the time in yourself to understand what it is that you’re signing up for. Your future self will thank you. I wrote the paper now some nine years ago and I put it together in a very specific way for two audiences or surgeons who were running into difficulties, producing a successful result, keeping the incisions in the proper place, keeping the breasts soft and over 20 years of practice those hurdles were being solved internally. There are fixes for that and that’s all covered in that algorithm. The second audience are the layperson patients who are looking for truth. They are looking for where the divide is between ordinary and extraordinary. And so at the end of the day, the goal was to open the chamber of secrets to show people what they need to know to find a better long-term permanent outcome for themselves.

(01:29):
Apex is two things. It is a procedure and perhaps more importantly, it’s a re-framing of the fundamental way to think about natural tissue breast reconstruction from the ground up. What are some of those things that are solved by the Apex concept? They are the ability to keep incisions in the tummy very low, reliably, all the time so that the aesthetic of the abdomen meets the measure of what we’re trying to do from top to bottom. It also allows us to deliver a breast that stays soft after the surgery. Softness is directly related to the quality of the blood supply in the fat that we’re transplanting. The final thing that it delivers 100% of the time is a guarantee that we’re not going to damage your muscle structure in your abdomen while we’re doing the work that we’re doing. Pristine is the way we would like to see things fall out at the end of the operation so that we’re not only protecting all of the muscle structure and its strength, but we’re also protecting the nerves that power it.

(02:56):
And the Apex concept allows that to happen every single time. Apex is the achievement of something without compromise. The fundamental goal is to get past this. It’s just a window in your life. Let’s approach it in the right way from the very beginning. Let’s start from a place that makes sense and let’s walk through it methodically with attention to detail all along the way because the value of approaching it like that is permanence and it’s not something that you think about every day and perhaps ever again. Ordinary is easy. Extraordinary takes more effort. It takes more focus, but extraordinary is where the good things live. And so it’s worth whatever amount of extra effort, whatever amount of extra inconvenience, whatever amount of extra time, because that permanence is yours. Once you have it, you own it.

‍Dr. DellaCroce “opens his chamber of secrets” on the APEX procedure, the natural‑tissue breast reconstruction that delivers soft, lasting results with low abdominal scarring and fully preserved muscle 100% of the time. This no-compromise approach gives women the power of informed choice, so the outcome they invest in is permanent, comfortable, and truly their own.
