Frank J. DellaCroce, MD, FACS, is a founding partner of the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery (CRBS) and the St. Charles Surgical Hospital, the first hospital in the world dedicated to breast reconstruction for women facing breast cancer. Board certified in Plastic Surgery and a world leader in breast reconstruction techniques, Dr. DellaCroce is an expert in the DIEP, GAP and SIEA Flap procedures.  In a career spanning beyond a decade, he has performed thousands of reconstructive procedures on women from around the world and has authored numerous scientific papers on the pioneering techniques developed at the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery.

He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center. He then went on to completed both his General Surgery internship and Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston before returning to LSU for a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of numerous societies including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. Dr. DellaCroce is an honorary board member of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure and serves on the advisory board for FORCE. The American Cancer Society has named Dr. DellaCroce a Spirit Award Honoree for going above and beyond in the fight against cancer. He has been named one of the “Best Doctors in America” for the last 5 consecutive years. He is a widely published author in peer reviewed medical journals, textbooks, and online resources including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Clinics in Plastic Surgery, and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and WebMD. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Latin America, and Asia on the various techniques developed at his center and he enjoys golfing, traveling with his family, and deep-sea fishing in his off hours.
